Beta Testers welcome message Resident Evil Fanboy community forums
First off, welcome to Resident Evil Fanboy! You are the first ones to have access to our newborn community. The purpose of the "Beta Testers" user group is to test our new bulletin system and to give feedback regarding the current features and help identify bugs. We will also be 'scouting' for users with excellent grammar, friendly and professional attitude for potential Staff members .
We love the recently released IP.Board 3.x. However, it has many little annoying bugs. We have set up the issue tracker where you can report any discrepancies. We will the review the issues and report them to the official project tracker over at Invision Power. Since IP.Board 3.2 has many drastic code changes, our two official custom themes are not compatible with it (bummer!). So for the testing phase, we will be using the default and mobile skin. We want to wait until a few more updates or patches are release before we start converting our official skins into the new template system.
We only invited those who we thought were the most active users on our Twitter page. However, most of them have an account on this site but have not logged in for the first time. We only want active users in this community (specially in the testing phase) so all inactive Beta Testers will be reverted to the "Members" user group which means you won't have any special website access and will not be able to sign in whenever the community is offline.
