Rob, Thank you for taking the time to write that update regarding your wellbeing. I am here for you if you ever need to talk about anything. Sometimes it is not so easy to contribute to a new community. Even I have been absent due to personal reasons. We all struggle from time to time, but good mental health helps us bounce back and stay in control when times get tough. Good mental health is not merely the absence of diagnosable mental health problems. Our body performs best when we are in good physical health. Good mental health means we’re able to cope with daily stresses and accomplish personal goals. Sometimes all we need is someone to listen. Send me a private message on here to discuss any personal or website issues. Have a great day, buddy!

Hey, RE Fanboy community. First off I want to apologize for not being active the last 4 months due to mental health issues and depression. It has hit me like the guy who drove the semi through downtown Raccoon City. I will continue to post on the twitter page as myself til I feel that I am ready to deliver some good content for you guys.

  10. Hello! Welcome to Resident Evil Fanboy! 🙂

    So I've just seen . . .

I just came back from the movies and watched Bohemian Rhapsody, and I loved it. I think it was a great film. I must admit I went to the movie theater with low expectations due to the low ratings from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. As is often the case, their opinions are the opposite of moviegoers as most of them liked the film.

    So I've just seen . . .

Me too! I my spidey senses are telling me a sequel is in the works.

    Join our team!

I believe we first need to establish a solid team. Then we should focus on spreading the word about the site. Just my two cents. 🙂

Looks like someone is an old man!

Thanks, fellas! I appreciate it. 😁

    So I've just seen . . .

I watched Venom, and I liked it. I don't know why a lot of people hated it. I want to watch Bohemian Rhapsody even though a ton of people hate on it. How was it? What did you think about it?

Invite your friends to sign up!

Hello, everybody! Our website seems to be ready for the masses! We need to get the ball rolling and start inviting members. We can easily do this by sharing our URL in your favorite social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. However, we prefer you use our invitation system. Let's get personal! Click on the ticket icon on the top right corner to send invitations to people you know. I recommend you send these invitations to people who are into the Resident Evil series as we want an active community and not just numbers. What do you say? Let's do this! I challenge all of you to invite at least one person every month! Help us grow this community! Visit https://residentevilfanboy.com/settings/invitesystem/ and start inviting your friends! 🙂
  22. Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Members Club! Every user that joins our community joins this club by default. Use this club forum to discuss anything related to your membership. Members can leave the Members clubs at any time but why would someone do that? 🤔
  23. Nice, David is my second most favorite Outbreak character. Kevin Ryman is my favorite character from the Outbreak series. I think he is probably my favorite character from the entire Resident Evil series. He is not as serious as Leon or Chris and feels very relatable to me. I just like his happy-go-lucky personality. I mean, check out this tweet:
  24. My favorite Outbreak character is David because he has a mysterious past, an epic knife attack combo and I love the way he shoots handguns. Plus he is a plumber like Mario!
  25. Resident Evil Outbreak, known as Biohazard Outbreak in Japan, is a survival-horror game released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 between 2003 and 2004. Capcom released the sequel titled Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 in 2005. It was the first Resident Evil game with multiplayer capability, using the PlayStation 2's online network (Though, the servers have since shut down). Up to four players could participate simultaneously in one scenario; alternately, in single-player mode, the player is accompanied by two AI-controlled characters. Outbreak introduces the "virus gauge," which limits the number of time players may spend on a scenario. The virus gauge rises at different rates for different characters and increases rapidly if the character is attacked or crawling on the ground. The game lost all online play capabilities for the USA servers in 2007. The Japan servers stayed up but finally went down in July 2011. We don't have a dedicated Resident Evil Outbreak forum yet which is why I posted this poll in the Lounge. Please vote and let us know who is your favorite Outbreak character in a comment below! Thanks! 🙃

    • When you share forum topics or forum posts on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter will use our default social share image or alternate social share image which doesn’t work well as representation of specific forum discussions.

      Forum Topic Attachment

We have implemented a new feature which lets you use the first image uploaded as an attachment in a topic and set it as Open Graph image ("og:image"), so social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ can use it as a thumbnail image to represent the link.

This feature only adds the attachment image to the source code so that social media services can pick it up. Please note that there is no guarantee that the attachment will not instantly show up as social media websites do not scrape content automatically.

      Facebook Sharing Debugger

Facebook caches the images and loads them asynchronously which means that when you share an URL for the first time, the image might not show instantly. If you want to test what Facebook is picking up, go to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/ and re-scrape the URL.

If you don’t see an image for your topic URL or it is an outdated one, click “Scrape again” until it displays correct image.

    • Tagging and prefixing content is a quick and easy way to categorize and highlight the content within our site. Users can then use these to filter by similar tags or prefixes quickly.

      Tagging

Tagging when creating content can be done by entering comma separated values into the tag box. Once you have done this you can choose one of these items to be a title prefix should you wish to do so, as seen below.

Once you add your tags, they can be seen within the topic list or indeed on the item of the content itself. Clicking on any of these will search for other material with the same tag or prefix. You are required to input a minimum of three tags which will help with content discovery.

I hope you find this article helpful!
